When the discussion reaches to Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) many of us fret and fear. However success comes not with cowardice but with bravery plus an Air Force officer is deemed to take challenges boldly and overcome hurdles. So here is an amalgamation of some secret tips to crack AFCAT 2021 exam:

Know the syllabus foremost. Let me sketch an outline of the same:

General Awareness: history, geography, sports, civics, culture, art, elementary science, Defence etc

Numerical Ability: percentage, average, simplification, profit- loss, simple interest etc.

Verbal English– comprehension, error detection, synonym- antonym, vocabulary, sentence completion etc.

Reasoning & military aptitude–  verbal skill and spatial ability.

Once you have scanned the entrance curriculum plunge to the marking ratio. There will be 100 questions of 3 marks each hence total 300 marks. Without any leniency there is a portion of negative marks as well. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

• Mock tests, last 10 year question papers and regular assessments are must for a thorough preparation because without testing your progress you cannot step ahead.
• Be regular in your studies and work as per a good time table.
• Time for SSB bite. Yes once you cross the ladder of written exam, SSB will be awaiting for you. It’s a 5 day lengthy procedure testing your verbal, written, physical and psychological skills.
• For this groom you personality, be more socially active, amplify your confidence level, get into group discussion with friends and gain as much knowledge (about current affairs primarily) as you can.
• Don’t neglect your fitness. Do health check up. Keep up a good diet and take proper sleep.
