Candidates who have performed one LASIK procedure are eligible to join the Indian Army. But it would be best if you got treated after the age of 20. And, your eyesight must be 6/6 without glasses after the operation.

The eyesight of -5 D is above the permissible limit. You can consider LASIK surgery to correct it, but we recommend consulting a good specialist before making any decision.
