It might sound like a lot of hard work- but not next to impossible which encompasses clearly the journey or road to success for Harish Vashishth, who cracked his NDA in his fourth attempt from the Dehradun batch and got recommended for NDA-153 Let’s have a look below at his wonderful and remarkable feat following his success at selection-

Well what can one want more in life than achieving what you desire the most, being fulfilled in front of your eyes and being the child of a proud parent, well the amount of happiness ushered at that moment was undenyingly short to express and that happiness was hard to process with all the surge of emotions being felt at that moment when he got the confirmation that he was among some of the worthy candidates at their successful selection.

Journey of Harish-

Hailing from Bhiwani, Haryana whose father is a farmer he always had the dream to achieve and do something big in life for himself and his family. It was the dream of his mother and father to see him to work as an officer and this motivated him, ignited his passions and he finally became the first-generation Armed Forces Officer in his family.

His journey throughout has been a culmination of both ups and downs as no success is complete without failures and failures are the stepping stones of success. He gave his NDA written exams and steered through but could not qualify with his SSB and was rejected but this did not demotivate him rather it made him want to accomplish more and reach higher and ignited his hunger for success and this gave him the power to achieve his dream long goal.

Strategic Approach-

This success is definitely not complete without his mention of the persistent and dedicated efforts of Centurion Defence Academy as the rigorous training and personal guidance along with regular and sustained sessions, recorded trainings and modules, counselling, spoken classes, study material, English and Hindi notes, etc given by the esteemed and renowned panel of experts monitored his growth and abilities and the regular mock tests and sessions he took part with all his frequent attempts gave him an insight and understanding at what and how can he extract the most and benefit with ease. He completed the course 3-4 times and this definitely made him feel at the Academy as a senior and he felt responsible to have all his questions ready beforehand so that he would never be dumbstruck before his juniors and also at his classes and lectures, the teachers also gave him the chance or say made a point to ask questions to him only which again motivated the zeal in him to be prepared and ready at all times which he think was the defining strategy that made him one step ahead and ready for his preparations.

He actively took part in various extracurriculars and made it a point to make himself extrovert which he lacked so that he could maintain a proper balance between his studies, his interests and hobbies and always volunteered for public speaking as he had stage fear since his English was weak as he hailed from a village background so communication skills were lacking so as to gain confidence which he lacked during his personal interview earlier when he was disqualified so as to enhance his vocabulary and build confidence within him.

His Preparation Experience-

The balanced coaching and guidance that he was fostered at Centurion has proved fruitful in achieving and ensuring his mission as all his expectations, and objectives were met in the most diligent and viable manner which made him reach and fulfill his objective. The Academy’s Guidance and Engagement Strategy at individual level based on every student’s I.Q and profile mapping is commendable as each and every student is different, having their own strengths and weaknesses and the way he was motivated and guided at each and every step with such diligence and patience by the entire team of teachers and panelists at every step really paved his way for success as after the rejection he was demotivated and had no clue as to where he was lacking or he went wrong and but he was at every step guided and motivated here and individually counseled with keeping in mind his strengths and weaknesses be it how to clear up with his written, how to prepare for his interviews, how to prepare for the group tasks, etc, which definitely gave him positive results and thus made him conquer his failures and negativities.

Post this when he appeared for his writtens and qualified the same, it gave him the confidence and he was motivated with full zeal to appear for his Interview and this time he was all the more confident and calm with a composed attitude as this time he was already prepared and knew his weak points which made him control his nervous bouts and panic attacks and he went in, answered each of the questions with ease and clarity and came out hoping he had answered everything the way it should have been and that he would not have repeated the same mistake he had done before. Amid all the emotional stress and panic that he as well as his parents were under the grip at that particular moment was really very tense but as soon as he got a confirmation call his happiness knew no bounds as he had finally managed to achieve his dream and was really elated at his success and he called his father and his happiness was unmeasured and he felt as the most luckiest and the most blessed child of his proud parents.
