Rajveer secured AIR-214 rank and was recommended for the NDA-153 Course cracking his SSB from 24, SSB, Bangalore. This young lad had the dream to achieve something big in his life for himself as well as his family. It was his own dedication, will power and firm faith that he only wanted to go for the Defence Forces and did not pursue or apply for any other course and this reason was enough to motivate him, igniting his passions to live the life of an Armed Forces Officer. Though Rajveer appeared previously also but could not ace out as he fell behind in his writtens but this did not deter his passion and confidence and he aced and overcame his shortcomings and achieved an AIR-214 rank in his fourth and last attempt which he gave his whole passion and soul as no option was left to backout since this was his only dream and purpose to work for the nation being an Armed Forces Officer. Let us have a look below at his wonderful and remarkable feat following his heartfelt success at selection-

Success Journey-

Well what can be more accomplishing than achieving what you desire the most, being fulfilled in front of your eyes, well the amount of happiness you gain at that moment is definitely hard to express and that happiness is much more difficult to process with all the bounce of emotions being felt at that moment when Rajveer got the confirmation that he was finally selected in his fourth attempt which he happily and proudly called his father for the first time as he always called his mother to discuss or share anything and shared the good news with his father for the very first time as his happiness knew no bounds.

Hailing from Gonda and having a complete civilian background Rajveer always had the dream to achieve big in life for himself and his family. It was the dream and resilience of himself to wear the uniform when he saw the parade in Independence Day, Republic Day which he never missed on T.V. which gave him goosebumps just to feel that in reality and this motivated him a lot to work for the betterment of the nation and to honour and live the glorious life of an Indian Armed Forces Officer and this motivated him, ignited his passions, to feel the surge and finally he was recommended. It was his sole ambition and dream so much that he did not think about any other career or stream and was hell bend to crack the NDA Exam only so much that since Class-XI only he chose his subjects, stream all that was aligned and helpful as per NDA pattern.

His journey throughout has been a culmination of positives and negatives as no success is complete without failures and that failures are the stepping stones of success. He gave his written exams but could not clear through and was rejected due to low confidence, inability to express or bring out his thoughts forward, being weak at current affairs, extra pressure and particularly failed his Mathematics part but this did not deter him rather it made him want to accomplish more and reach higher and ignited his hunger for success and this gave him the power to achieve his dream in his fourth and last attempt because he believed in the phrase,” Everything is possible.”

Rajveer joined Centurion’s 6 months Written+ SSB Batch. He credits the comprehensive approach for helping him stay well prepared for both stages wherein he led a hostel life following a strict routine while getting up early and being punctual in studies and routine, learned to be independent, do things on his own, take charge of his responsibilities, having a fixed time table, getting a studious and disciplined as well as competitive atmosphere with the best industry teachers to guide and motivate in his entire journey particularly his Mathematics portion in which he was failing miserably where he got guidance from the teachers, he self-introspected, gave regular mock tests that led him to know his strengths and work on his weak points and in turn build his confidence as well.

This success is definitely incomplete without the mention of the consistent efforts of Centurion Defence Academy’s entire elite panel of teachers, industry experts as the rigorous training and personal guidance along with regular and methodological trainings and classes, recorded lectures and modules, counseling, spoken classes, study material, English and Hindi notes, etc given by the esteemed and renowned panel of experts assessing the growth and abilities and the regular mock tests and sessions he took part with all his frequent attempts gave him an insight and understanding at what and how can he extract the most and benefit with ease. As per Rajveer, “It is important to stay focused on your goal with a clear vision no matter how many hurdles come across you should not lose the will to achieve your goal and be positive with affirmation and believe in yourself as this will only make you mentally strong and prepared to achieve your vision.”

As in words of Rajveer, “It is very important to have your concepts clear with enough practice and revision which he called his CPR Technique to ace out the NDA. Being consistent is the key to success and prioritizing your needs and requirements is the utmost crux in achieving the goal.

The balanced coaching and guidance that is fostered at Centurion has proved fruitful in achieving and ensuring his mission as all his expectations, and objectives were met in the most diligent and viable manner which made him reach and fulfill his objective. The Academy’s Guidance and Engagement Strategy at individual level based on every student’s I.Q is commendable as each and every student is different, having their own strengths and weaknesses along with not only giving the preparation support with the subjects, the mental support and guidance that was offered was all the more helpful and the way he was motivated and guided at each and every step with such diligence and patience by the entire team of teachers and panelists at every step really paved his way for success as after the defeat in three attempts he was really demotivated and had no clue as to where he was lacking or went wrong and his confidence level just dropped off but he was at every step guided and motivated here and individually counseled with keeping in mind his strengths and weaknesses be it how to clear up with his written, how to prepare for his interviews, how to prepare for the group tasks, etc, work on his Mathematics part, making him confident with his ability to express and also helping out with his current affairs which definitely gave him positive results and thus made him conquer the failures and negativities. As Rajveer stated, “It is very important to understand that SSB depends on lifestyle so being dedicated, self-disciplined and confident is very important. Following a focused routine, giving regular mock tests, doing selective preparation, mastering your weak points, and self-introspecting yourself will definitely help you in achieving the goal.”

Last but not the least as described by Rajveer, “A special shoutout to Ranneeti book in which the psychology portion is so aptly described which gave a very good exposure at story making, narration, OIR portion, WAT, SRT’s and the efficient time management as discussed in the book and its importance which I followed rigorously and because of which I was able to finish all 60 Wat in the allotted time period and especially Shishir Sir who took motivation classes, took doubt-clearing sessions, psychology lectures and classes and also felicitated us at various occasions which motivated me a lot and was available round the clock for any kind of doubt clearing or guidance of any kind.”

As in the words of Rajveer, “When I appeared for my written and was disqualified in my three attempts, it demotivated me but with Centurion’s planned study time-table and guidance I came back with full zeal to appear for my writing in the fourth attempt and this time I was all the more confident and calm with a composed attitude as this time I was already prepared and knew my weak points which made me control my nervous bouts and panic attacks and I went in, answered each of the questions with ease and clarity and came out hoping I had answered everything the way it should have been and that I would not have repeated the same mistake I had done before. Amid all the stress and panic that I, as well as my parents, were having at that particular moment was really very tense but as soon as I got a confirmation call and saw my call letter in my hands, my happiness knew no bounds as I had finally managed to achieve my far-fetched dream and was really happy at my success and I saw the happiness of my parents and their happiness was unmeasured and I felt as the luckiest and blessed child of my proud parents”.
