UPSC has released the CDS 2 2025 admit card on its official website. Candidates who filled out the form can now download their admit card online. Candidates should download it at the earliest, before the written exam dates.
Why the Admit Card is Important
Your admit card is your entry pass for the CDS examination. It has mentioned all your information like your roll number, the date and time, exam centre and the day of the exam. Without it, you will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

How to Download the CDS 2 2025 Admit Card
- Go to the official UPSC website at: www.upsconline.nic.in or www.upsc.gov.in
- Click the “Admit Card” link.
- Click the “E-Admit Cards for Various UPSC Examinations” link.
- Find the admit card link for CDS 2 2025.
- Enter your Registration number / Roll Number and Date of Birth.
- Click submit, and your admit card will be displayed.
- Download and print two or more copies.
To avoid PDF formatting issues, use a computer to print your admit card instead of using your phone.
Important Information About the Admit Card
- The date and place of the CDS 2 2025 examination are being notified on the admit cards.
- For login, you will need your Registration Number and DOB.
- If you do not have an admit card or if your admit card has errors, report to UPSC at their Facilitation Counter right away.
- It is a must to verify the details, which at times may be found to be wrong; a wrong name, roll number, or a blurred photo can cause disqualification.
Documents to Carry on Exam Day
- Printed Admit Card – No soft copies are allowed.
- Valid Photo ID – Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License or PAN.
- Two Black Ballpoint Pens – To fill OMR sheets.
- Passport-Sized Photos – Just in case the photo on the admit card is blurry or unclear.
Exam Day Guidelines
- Please ensure you reach well ahead of time to be on time; anticipate that the gates will be closed 10 minutes before the test begins.
- Take only the required things you have – admit card, ID, pens and photos.
- Co-operate with the invigilators and maintain discipline.
- Keep your admit card in a safe place; at some point, you may need it for the interview or later rounds of selection.
About CDS Examination
UPSC conducts the CDS Exam two times in a year to select candidates for the Armed Forces.
The selection process has two stages:
- Written Exam – Includes English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics (depending on the academy).
- SSB Interview – Assesses personality, leadership, communication skills, and physical endurance.
The selected candidates are then trained in the respective academies and begin to serve the Indian Armed Forces as commissioned officers.
