National Defence Academy 150 Course Passing Out Parade

The National Defence Academy Passing Out Parade (POP) is not just a military ceremony. For every defence aspirant, parent, mentor, and proud Indian, it is a moment filled with emotion, pride, discipline, and achievement.

On 30 May 2026, the historic Khetrapal Parade Ground at the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, witnessed another glorious chapter in India’s military tradition as the cadets of the 150th NDA Course marched towards a new beginning in their lives. The parade marked the successful completion of training for 353 cadets, including 229 Army cadets, 43 Naval cadets, and 81 Air Force cadets. The course also included 24 international cadets from 13 friendly foreign countries, highlighting the NDA’s reputation as one of the world’s finest military academies.

For the entire Centurion Defence Academy family, this occasion became even more special because several of our students proudly marched in this historic parade, moving one step closer to becoming commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces.

Highlights of NDA POP 2026

The NDA POP 2026 was reviewed by the Chief of Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, who delivered a powerful address to the graduating cadets.

In his speech, he emphasized the importance of leadership, adaptability, lifelong learning, and character. Referring to the changing nature of warfare and modern security challenges, he reminded the cadets that the future battlefield demands officers who can think as effectively as they act.

One of the most inspiring moments of his address was his recognition of the female cadets passing out with the course. He highlighted that courage, grit, determination, and leadership have no gender and that excellence in military service is measured only by capability and commitment.

The parade also reflected the spirit of jointmanship that defines NDA training. Cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force trained together, lived together, and marched together, showcasing the unity that forms the foundation of India’s Armed Forces.

The ceremony featured spectacular military bands, precision drill movements, President’s Colours, and a breathtaking fly-past involving helicopters and training aircraft, making it a memorable occasion for cadets and their families.

Aditya K. Srivastava — NDA 150th Course

Aditya Maurya — 2 AFSB Mysore | NDA 150th Course

“Hindi-medium. Civilian background. Second attempt. Still made it—and made it count.”

Coming from Ayodhya and a Hindi-medium background, Aditya shattered the myth that English determines success in SSB.

After scoring more than 500 marks in the NDA written examination and earning recommendation from 2 AFSB Mysore, he became a source of inspiration for countless Hindi-medium students across India.

Ankit Tripathi — AIR 85 | 18 SSB Allahabad | NDA 150th Course

“Seven years of waiting. One focused attempt. A rank that said it all.”

An alumnus of Rashtriya Military School Ajmer, Ankit secured AIR 85 with an impressive combined score of 835 and an outstanding SSB score of 470.

Dipansu Kumar Singh — NDA 150th Course

Juee Rajendra Dhage — AIR 3 (Girls) | NDA 150th Course

“From archery targets to officer’s stars Maharashtra’s finest, India’s pride.”

Juee Dhage from Pune secured AIR 3 among girls and achieved a remarkable SSB score of 490.

A national-level archer with 16 medals, she carried her sporting discipline and focus into every stage of NDA preparation. Her dream of representing the Indian Army at the Olympics reflects her relentless pursuit of excellence.

Prince Soni – NDA 150th Course | 12 SSB Bangalore

“Screened out once. Came back stronger. Refused to quit.”

Prince Soni’s journey perfectly demonstrates the importance of resilience.

After clearing the NDA written examination twice, Prince faced disappointment when he was screened out during his first SSB attempt. Many candidates lose confidence after such setbacks, but Prince chose a different path.

Supported by his family and guided by Team Centurion, he continued preparing with renewed determination.

In his second SSB attempt at 12 SSB Bangalore, Prince performed brilliantly. Out of 82 candidates in the batch, only 34 cleared screening, and finally, just 10 candidates earned recommendations. Prince was among the successful few.
