What is TA Entry?

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Territorial Army, the candidate must:

• Be a citizen of India

• Be aged between 18 to 42 years

• Hold a graduate degree from a recognized university

• Be physically and medically fit

Selection Process

1. Written Exam

   • Conducted by the Preliminary Interview Board (PIB)

   • Candidates with correctly submitted forms are shortlisted for the written test.

2. SSB Interview

   • Candidates who qualify the written exam appear for the SSB (Service Selection Board) interview.

3. Medical Examination

   • Final stage of selection to check fitness and medical standards.

Paper 1:

• Reasoning – 50 Questions (50 Marks)

• Elementary Mathematics – 50 Questions (50 Marks)

• Minimum 40% in each part

Territorial Army Marking Scheme & Important Instructions

• For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark.

• There is a penalty for wrong answers: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

• The final score will be calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers.

• The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be followed by the SSB Interview for candidates who qualify the written exam.
