Last 15 Days Preparation Plan for NDA 2 2025 – Smart & Practical Guide

If you’re reading this, chances are the NDA 2 2025 exam is just around the corner, and you’re left with only 15 days to prepare. First of all, don’t panic. Still, we have time and don`t need to panic. Many aspirants crack NDA even with limited time, not because they studied every single thing, but because they learned the right things in the right way. Follow minimum content and maximum revision.

In the last 15 days, your focus should be on revision and practice rather than learning new topics or watching long hours of video. Let’s make a realistic 15-day preparation plan that will help you boost your confidence and maximise your score.

Understanding the Exam Pattern

Before planning anything, you should know the NDA exam structure:

Subject

No of Questions

Marks

Duration

Mathematics

120

300

2.5

GAT(Genaral Ability Test)

150

600

2.5

GAT consists of two subjects-

English – 50 questions
GK (History, Geography, Polity, Current Affairs, Science) – 100 questions.

The golden rule? Maths is gonna decide your selection in the written. GAT boosts your overall score.

Day-Wise Practical Plan

Days 1–5: Solid Revision of Core Subjects

  1. Maths → Revise formulas daily of all the important topics, such as Trigonometry, Algebra, Probability, and Statistics.. Don’t just read them – solve 20–30 questions after revision. Try the elimination method when solving; most questions can be solved by putting options.
  2. English → Brush up on grammar rules and focus on the previous year’s paper. The more you solve the pyqs, the more you can have a grip on the paper pattern. Spend 30 minutes daily on synonyms, antonyms, idioms, and reading comprehension. (When you solve papers daily, you will have the habit of sitting for 2-3 hours, and your focus will be on only solving questions.)
  3. GK/Science → Focus on NCERT-based facts: Modern History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity, and Science (Physics laws, Chemistry reactions, Biology basics).

Tip: Instead of wasting time, it’s better to revise the topics that actually come in the exam.

Days 6–10: Mock Tests & Time Practice

By this stage, your base preparation is done – now it’s time to prove yourself. The next 5 days should revolve around full-length tests.

  1. Daily Full-Length Paper
    1. Attempt 1 full NDA paper daily (Maths + GAT).
    2. Sit in a proper exam-like environment – table, chair, no phone, strict 2.5 hours timer.
    3. You need to make this habit so that your mind gets automatically switched to exam mode.
  2. Analysis > Attempt
    1. Remember, the test itself is just 50% work; the real learning is in the analysis.
    2. Give 2–3 hours after each test to deeply analyze:
      • Which questions did you get wrong and why? (Concept mistake or silly mistake?)
      • Which questions took too much time? Can it be done with the shortcut?
      • Which topics are you consistently strong in?
    3. Make a small notebook of mistakes – learning from those silly mistakes can give you extra marks.
  3. Focus on Strengths, Not New Topics
    1. Many aspirants make this mistake. In the last 10 days before the NDA 2025 exam, they pick up completely new, untouched topics.
    2. Don`t do this: if you have never studied a topic properly, it’s tough to score on that topic.
    3. Instead, focus on strengthening the chapters where you’re already average to good. That’s where you will score maximum marks.
  4. Timer Practice
    1. NDA is not just about knowledge, it’s about speed + accuracy.
    2. During mock tests, strictly follow time limits:
      • For Maths  2 hours (aim 55–65 serious attempts).
      • For GAT  2 hours-30 mins (aim 120+ attempts).
    3. If you’re taking more than 2 mins on any question, mark and skip – don`t get stuck.

Tip: Practice solving with a timer. NDA is not just about knowledge – it’s about speed + accuracy. No exam question is the last question of your life. If you get stuck, skip it and move ahead. A smart candidate is the one who controls time, not the one controlled by it.

 Days 11–13: Current Affairs & High-Weight Topics

  1. Cover the last 6 months of current affairs – defence news, important appointments, military exercises, awards, and space/science updates. Review your notes on current affairs, but don`t seek new content; focus more on defence-related current affairs during your last 15 days of NDA preparation.
  2. Revise Polity (Fundamental Rights, Parliament), Modern History (Freedom Struggle), and Geography (climate, rivers, world map basics).
  3. Spend an hour daily on English reading for NDA – 2025; quick comprehension can give you free marks.

Days 14–15: Quick Fire Revision & Mindset

  1. Don’t touch new topics now. Just revise what you’ve already studied. Revision is the key.
  2. Go through formula sheets, GK notes, and vocabulary flashcards.
  3. Solve at least 1 previous year paper each day to stay in exam rhythm. Don`t compare your preparation with others.
  4. Sleep well. A fresh mind will help you score 20–30 marks extra compared to a tired one.

Tip: Don’t stress about 100% preparation. No one does it. The key is to be 80–90% sharp in selected topics, rather than being 50% in everything.

Final Words

Preparing for the NDA-2025 exam in just 15 days may feel challenging, but trust us, it’s absolutely doable with the right game plan. The secret isn`t studying endlessly; it`s about studying smart. Prioritize revision, practise with mock tests, and manage your time wisely instead of stressiong over new topics at the last moment.

Approach the exam with confidence, discipline, and the mindset of an officer.

Every single day is precious now- make it count. Remember, your dream uniform is waiting for you. Stay focused, give your best shot, and let this 15-day plan be the push that takes you closer to success.
