PCOD ke mild cases me agar aapka treatment chal raha hai aur health stable hai, to usually eligible hoti hain, lekin
Final decision Armed Forces Medical Board karta hai medical examination ke time.

Agar PCOD severe form me hai (jisme hormonal imbalance zyada hai ya cysts large hain), to temporary unfit declare kiya ja sakta hai — lekin treatment ke baad review medical board me dobara fit ho sakti hain.

Candidates who have performed one LASIK procedure are eligible to join the Indian Army. But it would be best if you got treated after the age of 20. And, your eyesight must be 6/6 without glasses after the operation.

Yes, you can have a helix piercing and still be an MNS (Military Nursing Service) nurse, but there are some important conditions and expectations to keep in mind:

      1. During Selection and Training
During the MNS entrance, medical examination, and training, you will be expected to present a clean, professional appearance.

Some strict military training environments (e.g., AFMC, Military Nursing Colleges) may ask you to remove piercings temporarily, especially visible ones like helix piercings (cartilage).

Helix piercings may not be allowed during the initial medical checkup if they are considered healing, infected, or problematic.

      2. After Commissioning
Once you become a commissioned officer in the MNS, personal grooming standards still apply.

You may be allowed to wear simple earrings as part of the uniform code, but multiple or unconventional piercings (like helix) might not be permitted while on duty or in uniformed service settings.

      3. General Military Grooming Guidelines
The Indian Armed Forces maintain strict dress and grooming codes.

Any body modification or piercing that is seen as non-conventional or non-professional may be disallowed, especially while in uniform.

Jab mai 7th standard me thi meri humerus fracture ho gyi thi lekin ab thik ho chuki h completely without any rods and metal surgery to kya mai eligible hu mns bsc nursing k liye

    Reply
    • Centurion Defence Academy June 12, 2025

      Namaste!
Agar aapko 7th class me humerus (baazu ki haddi) fracture hua tha, lekin ab woh completely theek ho chuka hai, koi rod/plate nahi lagi, aur ab aapko koi pain, deformity, ya movement restriction nahi hai, to aap MNS B.Sc Nursing ke liye generally eligible hoti hain.

MNS selection ke dauraan medical examination hota hai jo ye check karta hai ki candidate completely fit hai ya nahi. Aapka pura recovery ho chuka hai to aapke liye zyada tension ki baat nahi hai.

      Salah:
Final decision medical board ka hota hai. Aap ek baar apne documents aur medical report ke saath kisi ex-army doctor ya defence medical expert se consult bhi kar sakti hain.

      Namaste!
MNS (Military Nursing Service) ke liye medical standards strict hote hain, lekin har case individual basis par evaluate kiya jata hai.

Eye and Vision Standards (as per latest norms):

Minimum distant vision: 6/6 in better eye, 6/18 in worse eye, correctable with glasses.

Colour vision: CP II (normal colour vision required).

Squint or any morbid condition of the eye is not acceptable.

Lasik surgery is generally not permitted unless done before a certain age and with stable vision.

      Fracture in Childhood:
Agar haath ka fracture bachpan mein hua tha aur ab koi functional limitation (movement restriction, deformity, ya pain) nahi hai, to aap eligible ho sakti hain. Final decision medical board ke evaluation ke baad hota hai.

    Reply
    • Centurion Defence Academy October 15, 2025

For MNS medical standards, you should have a full set of healthy teeth without cavities. Generally, at least 16 teeth in good condition in each jaw (28 total) are required for proper chewing efficiency. However, minor dental issues can be corrected before the medical examination. It’s best to consult a qualified dentist well in advance.
