Chandra Prakash did not quit indeed. He kept on fighting until he secured his selection in the National Defence Academy. Chandra Prakash qualified for the NDA 149 course in his fourth attempt. Undaunted by his previous failures, Chandra Prakash kept doing hard work with the hardest determination to secure his place in National Defence Academy. He never let his previous failures become an impediment, instead, he regarded them as a learning experience and learned a lot of things. Chandra Prakash always followed the philosophy of ‘Work in silence and let success make noise’. He silently kept working hard and ultimately he did what was impossible for many.

Journey of Chandra Prakash: From RIMC to NDA

Chandra Prakash has completed his studies at the prestigious RIMC, Dehradun. The seeds of his defence dreams were planted here only. Chandra Prakash saw the life of the Armed Forces very closely at RIMC and after seeing the lifestyle, way of working, and spirit of camaraderie in the Armed, he decided that he will make his career in the Armed Forces only.

But His Journey to NDA was not so easy. He faced many setbacks and failures. But the Only thing that proved to be game-changing for him was Centurion Defence Academy. Chandra Prakash says that Centurion Defence Academy greatly helped me to find my weaknesses. Chandra Prakash did great hard work to remove those weaknesses. Under the guidance of Sir, Shishir Dixit, Chief SSB Mentor at Centurion Defence Academy, Chandra Prakash excelled in his psychology tests. GTO Training provided at Centurion Defence Academy was very helpful during his actual SSB at Allahabad. He pays his greatest gratitude to Centurion Defence Academy for providing him with the best mentorship for SSB.

His Five Days SSB Experience

His Five Days of SSB Interview were one of the best days of his life. During these five days, Chandra Prakash made some of his best mates. He learned from his previous experiences and did not participate in any fish market. He said there was no fish market. For his psychology tests, he entirely relied on the guidance provided by Shishir Sir. He practiced TAT, WAT, and SRT many times. His GTO also went very smoothly. He actively participated in his group and kept on giving new ideas. Chandra Prakash says that his real motive was to take our group forward. During group discussions also, he gave some valid points and gave others a chance to speak. His main goal was to reach a conclusion during group discussions rather than creating differences.

During His Interview, Chandra Prakash did not repeat the mistakes that he committed during his previous attempts. He answered all questions truthfully. Most Questions asked during his personal interview were from PIQ Form. Chandra Prakash recommends upcoming SSB Aspirants fully prepare their PIQ section because most of the questions during the personal interview will be based on PIQ Form only. Chandra Prakash took suggestions from his Friends also where he was lagging. He worked on those areas and was finally recommended from 11 SSB Allahabad.

His Motivation and Message

Chandra Prakash says, “ Every Dark Cloud has Silver Linings”. He says that sometimes you may face failures in your life but you should overcome these failures. He says that do not mind those people who create roadblocks in your journey. He says that “ Always focus on your own strengths and you will be invincible”. Indeed Failure is merely a stepping stone toward a bigger success in life.
