What is the selection procedure for TGC entry?

• First of all, the Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army) shortlists applications based on a cutoff percentage of marks for each engineering discipline/stream.

• After the shortlisting of applications, the center allotment for the SSB interview will be intimated to the candidates via email.

• After allotment of the Selection Centre, candidates will have to log in to the Indian Army website and select their SSB dates, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis initially.

• Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres, viz., Prayagraj (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), and Jalandhar (Punjab).

• After completion of the SSB interview and medical exam, the final merit list is declared, containing the names of the selected candidates.

• Finally, the selected candidates report to the IMA Dehradun for rigorous training spanning around 12 months.
